Marinate the chicken in pepper
powder, salt , ginger paste, garlic paste and 1 tbsp of oil for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a non stick thick
bottom pan. Add curry leaves, when curry leaves splutter add chopped onions and
slit green chilly and roast till the onion turns transparent.
Add marinated chicken and mix
well.
Add 1 tsp of dark soya sauce and mix well.
Cook in low flame for approximate
20 minutes or till chicken is cooked.
Adjust salt as per taste
Serve hot with steamed rice or
roti.
Tips
Add freshly ground pepper powder while marinating the chicken, this gives a very nice peppery aroma to the dish
Finely chopped capsicum can also be added to the dish along with onions
